Where We’re Going

Phase One delivered four sessions across Ohio and Illinois — First Step Friday, CBCF, and RISE Court in Franklin County, plus the Hinda Institute in Chicago. The Hinda session was facilitated by Isaac Yampolsky, the first trained peer facilitator besides Jacob to run a workshop. This phase set out to prove the program works when Jacob isn't in the room, and the early data says it does.

We are currently in Phase Two: expanding AI Futures beyond Ohio into new states, with six facilities and a growing cohort of trained facilitators. Community connections through Canary Impact are the foundation for this expansion.

Phase Three brings the program to Ohio, Illinois, Pennsylvania, and Indiana — twenty facilities, a replicable curriculum, and rigorous external evaluation. The goal is a model that any reentry organization can adopt, with trained peer facilitators who can sustain it.
